Born in Manerbio, Italy, on 16th March 1976 she gained her University M.Phil. degree cum magna laude at Università degli Studi di Pavia (Italy) in 1999. Her final thesis was a Sociolinguistics study about the Hungarian advertisments’ language during and after the socialist period. Part of the dissertation research has been published in 2000 on Translation Ireland ( “What Happened to Hungarian advertisment during socialism?” 2000, Vol. 3, pg. 5-8)
During her university years, she became very interested in new technologies and after her M.A., she began studying the main aspects related to Internet and Web Communication, also dealing with technical issues regarding web sites’ development, design and usability.
She has gained a various experience in research both in Italy and abroad, teaching (both graduate and undergraduate students), web design, project management and content design.
